sorry for being demanding but shouldn't the new lead dev at least show up on the forums and say "hi" or something? now that Nick is gone, this place sorta seems hollow. or should Eury and other gms now be filling that part also? which further deepens that hollowness. i mean come on, the core dude that was making the game just suddenly left without warning. it's like he died or something. and yes i know devs are busy and such a thing would be waste of precious time .... but ...

i mean by Eury and gms filling his place was his place in the forums. like if the new lead dev would rather use gms as mediums instead of personally interacting with the community as Nick have done at times

I feel kinda bad for the OP because he's being polite and all, but please realize that announcements are all we're going to hear from the staff involved in the game. That is the sad truth.

we don't know. if you want a more direct answer, use the support portal.
to me, the fact that nobody showed up yet means that there is no lead game designer yet. Eury also does a good job as a CoMa, so I guess we're stuck with her at annoucements and such. as for the role Nick had of a direct link between devs and the community, well, it will take a while to replace that.

As I see it, either Mark or Ian would be taking over the rolls of Lead Designer, that is assuming the entire team isn't picking up the slack and sharing those responsibilities.
Either way, does it make a huge difference weather a Dev or a GM posts the announcements?
