That's not a very acceptable way to apologize. You hurt people's feelings and say dreadful things about their work, but the most you can muster up is a "sorry, are you happy yet?"
That just doesn't cut it. I think they'd rather hear no apology at all than a bitter, half-hearted one like that.

@Malkalack: No. You need to apologize for destructively and hurtfully criticizing the works of others. Criticism meant to help and build up is fine. Calling someone's story "trash" is not.
Hurting feelings is not itself a crime. Even positive, constructive criticism can do that. What matters is how those feelings arrived. You caused those feelings through malicious words, and that's not cool.
@Popoxid: Fear not, your words are relevant. That concept is precisely what I had in mind when I criticized Malkalack on Feline-Grenadier's fanfiction thread.
