Equipping shields as a costume

Could we have the option to equip one shield functionally and another as a costume?

This way you can look how you want without sacrificing performance.
While this is currently possible with the helmets and armors, it's not currently implemented for shields.

This would also open up some possibilities for OOO to earn some money if they released sets of decorative shields (I would think that smaller versions of those bulky crenellated shields the wardens equip would be a good seller, as would different styles of ranger shields)

This has been suggested many times before...

I'm going to say -1 simply because I personally dislike the idea of having your shield not function the way it looks like it should (as opposed to armour, which we all know by now isn't as important as your shield and being able to dodge effectively).

But that's just me.

Obvious logical conclusion

Obvious logical conclusion derived from the success of fake helms and fake armors.

Personally I would swap out Swiftstrike for the 2* Jelly. That being said if I chose the Volcanic Plate instead, other people might naturally assume that is what I really am using.

Search bar

OK, I did a search up there before posting this and it just either timed out or returned no results.
Also, there aren't any recent posts about it that wouldn't be considered a necro if I posted on them, so made a topic.

While I do see your point, it shouldn't matter because we can inspect people.

For the most part the suggestion is just for aesthetics, because some of the equipment which is functionally effective together looks plain horrible.
There are currently no options to change the color scheme of your shields. (Which would be a nice alternative to this idea)
