Did you know you can do ™ and stuff as well? I'm thinking of starting a business: Sandy's Suing Service™. You sue them, we screw them.
I sue Sandy's Suing Service™, mwahaha
so that's what Hexies sk name is
BTW I can only do that because I've replaced the game's rsrc/ui/font/Arial.ttf with Arial Unicode MS.
Anyone who does this can also see all symbols you type, from Georgian to Chinese.
It wouldn't bee too difficult for OOO to replace the font with the Unicode one Hex showed.
Heck, I feel there should be more font options that stay within ToS.
Couldn't you just copy symbols and paste them into spiral knights chat? Why do you have to change the .ttf?
Because it's not supported. Neither is crossed out text; it just appears with spaces between the letters.
But Hex, changing the font is against the ToS, since I've filed a support ticked inquiring about that. ._.
where can i find Sandy's Suing Service™?
It was recently foreclosed due to the owner being sued by alliteration-angered abolitionists in an awesome assault.
Because apparently it's not free. You need to own a copy of windows (or more recently, a certain piece of software that windows sells that ships with it) to use it (although I don't know if you can distribute it commercially in a game without each and every user requiring a licence)
But using regular Arial works? I figure they should be the same thing but I guess not..? ¯\(°_o)/¯
Heh :D
