At the very beginning, I would like to ask you not to hit me in the face, if the idea like that has been already posted somewhere else. Thank you.
So, let's get started.
The Landmines
would be bomb line that would start from a 3* and go up to 5*, it would have two lines that would split at 4*. Now to the most interesting thing.
3* Small landmine/ 4* Light Landmine/ 5* Heavy Landmine
/4* Light Jumping Betty/5* Heavy Jumping betty
Landmines, when placed on the ground would not have active fuse, but they would activate it, when an enemy walks nearby (1-2 squares away from the bomb).
Landmine: could be stacked up to three, and if you placed more, one already planted would disappear.
Charge time of 5* Landmine would be a little bit shorter than nitronome's, and the radius of explosion would be as a 2*/3*/4* mist bomb for 3*/4*/5* Landmine.
Damage of 5* would be Normal and similar to 4* Blast Bomb's, of 4* similar to 3* Blast Bomb's and of 3* similar to 2* Blast Bomb's.
The movement speed reduction would be 2/3 of the BAB (You would move 33% faster than with charged BAB).
The knockback would be moderate, a lot lower than Blast Bomb's.
Jumping Betty: Also can be stacked up to three.
When enemy walks nearby they jump up from the ground and explode mid-air, inflicting higher damage than Landmine and/or a moderate Stun status, but having lower knockback and really small explosion radius(two squares the 4*/three and a half square the 5*).
To summarize:
Landmines:
-Can be stacked up to 3
-Explodes only when enemy walks nearby (1-2 squares)
-Mediocre damage and knockback
Jumping Bettys:
-Can be stacked up to 3
-When enemy walks nearby, it pops up in the air and explodes mid-air
-High damage
-Low knockback
-Medium chance for causing moderate Stun
-A little bit faster fuse than Landmine's
The looks:
Landmine would look like a flat plate with an antennae, and when placed it would bury itself in the ground and only the antennae would be visible. The Jumping Betty would look like that : http://static1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101130003127/deadliestfiction/im...
So, what do You think about such an idea? Feedback shall be appreciated.

nice

Pretty interesting mechanics. I like how you say it can be stacked up to 3 only, so people can't abuse it. Since it it has mediocre damage, I can't see how is this impact PVP or PVE too much unless there are 4/6 players in a party. The only problem is I want too see if there are any other ways to make the mines explode instead of just "walking through it".

Nice idea. So here, take half of my cookie. +0.5

The 4th wall shall be shattered!!!

This has already been suggested many times, but this may be the only one that is balanced, I'll leave it up for others to decide

/takes the other half of Aplauses cookie and runs off to the I Stole the Cookie Game

Hmm nice idea

Nice idea, mechanics are perfect and balance but I imagine them slightly different, with a smaller blast radius (a 3 by 3 square or polaris explosion size) and with higher damage (about the same as the big angry bomb in terms of normal damage). It would have meduim knock back and it would interrupt enemies attacks.

Other than what damage type would it be?
Is there different version of land mine you can up grade too that work slightly different?
Status version?
Would the land mine be invisible/ bury themselves under ground?

@Amnimonus

Radius and damage seem fine to me.
Other than what damage type would it be? Normal, maybe also Elemental, but i don't know. It would be a little bit overpowered, really high damages versus constructs or undead.
Is there different version of land mine you can upgrade too that works slightly different? I can think about something like that.
Status version? Nah, we already have many status bombs.
Would the land mine be invisible/ bury themseves under ground? Sure, why not? Already modified the top post.
