I thing that it would be cool to have voice chat on SK without steam, and can talk to people that have steam as well.

those are external software.
like steam.
so, built-in voice chat in SK won't be a thing until this game gets famous enough.

I already use Skype XD it just lags every now and then because AT&T is stupid imo
