I'm starting to feel spiral knights is lacking a new type of weapons/weapon lines ( not necessarily a new type of weapon just a new sword/gun/bomb ) for example there are 3 types of weapons in the game swords, guns and bombs ( and one hammer that is obtainable via DLC ) so wright down i idea for a new line of weapons or a new kind of weapon for example:

category: artillery
sub category: bow and arrow
whats spacial about it: arrows have a chance for going through a few enemy's giving them a bleed effect and some damage ( lower damage then a shout with a gun but the bleed does good damage that makes up for that).
cool down/reload: it shouts an arrow and then has to do a sub reload ( faster then a gun reload but still takes time ) and after ten shouts does a full reload.
charged attack: shouts three arrows that will go through any amount of enemy's till it hits a wall/leaves screen boundaries.

whats spacial about it: on impact would do a big amount of damage and would knock both player and enemy to different sides giving the player and enemy damage from the knock back ( for balancing )
cool down/reload: can hit once do a soft reload ( wait a little amount of time less then a full reload of a gun ) hit again with high damage levels
charged attack: the knight would aim at a enemy and charge at it when at the mean time pushing other enemy's to the sides and giving a explosive hit to the target enemy when dealing him explosive damage, hit damage and knock back damage.
