Bring back old HP integrity

Pretty much what the title is saying. I'm from back before the UI update and I highly prefer the old ally HP over the new one. Not because I prefer the look of it. It had pretty important information regarding the integrity of the allies' HP. You could see whether they had less HP blocks or more. This way you could estimate the durability of said person and take it in mind.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxARLatEJ58 An old example of the HP in the old hud. Thx to Vokster for the video.

Here you can see the amount of bars of allies. Like I said, this was also adaptive so it could show 5 bars for little integrity and at times 20 bars which showed you were pretty durable.

Please bring this feature back OOO. It helped a lot, not only in PvE but also in PvP.

If your teammates had heart trinkets, chances are their health exceeds 20 pips. As a result, you can't tell if they're missing HP or not with the old system. They could have 35 bars of health, be missing 14, and anyone at a quick glance would see no difference on the HUD. The bar showing how much health they have relative to their total health is more useful than showing only 20 pips, considering stacking HP bonus is pretty much, well, the meta.

Not that knowing exactly how much HP they have even matters anymore; your teammate is responsible for their own health, as there are 4x the pill pickups as trade off for not being able to share them.

Furthermore, there is nothing stopping you from taking 5 seconds to inspect someone to see their trinkets and gear before you jump onto that first party button. Now, a change that would actually be nice? Make the character "portraits" smaller, especially the one of your own Knight. They're too bulky and not really necessary.

Ah...hmm.

Good idea, but health capacity can be quite ridiculous with trinkets and certain armors. How about a toggle off-on-able % indicator somewhere around or on the health bar of each team mate?

Either a %/# of bars indicator, or changing the system to have Silver and Gold HP just like your own HP would both help.

I liked the old system because I could tell if my ally just got roflstomped or picked up a 24 vitapod. It's really annoying.

@Xyka
Full inspect may not be on
And also, it'd be pretty simple to just increase the number of the little 'pips' that the HUD could hold. Like from 20 -> 40, since most of the time you don't exceed 40.... unless you have Ancient Plate + x2 5* Heart Trinks + 5* Sprite Health Perk + 24 Vitapod... but that's not normal.

inb4 someone says you can't get +24 Vitas

I prefer the way it is now rather than always wondering whether my allies are hurt or not.

Then again, with this system it can make some people look like they have half their health when they still have enough to tank all day.

Why not make a toggle-able (haha, because that'll be implemented).

Well, I feel like Im with Klip

Also

@Xyka I never have full inspect enabled. Some people just don't like people inspecting them without their permission. It's a slight OCDish part of me.

I've had people going troll builds with no health at all or the "I wanted to heat my proto at Vana" excuses, sure if you can dodge I'd be fine with that but almost 100% of people who did that lagged into fire and got 1-shotted.

EDIT: Did I just wrote "I have feel.." in the title? Well fixed it lol.

YES!!

@Xyka I love that HUD you made! makes you able to see the durability of your team mates rather then a solid blue bar. love it!

OOO, I understand that the health bar in nowaday games that aren't shooters are in the top left, but I kind of like the old health bar placement. Also, @Xyka, I love your idea. The fact that it's a revamp of the old UI really makes it all the more convenient.

It honestly feels like they downgraded their UI (during combat/runs). They took away the sign when you are on the elevator, when you are dead (You got to check the healthbar now and that thing is at times not very visible to read vs an avatar that is replaced with a dead sign.), the always visible weapon statuses (showing if that weapon is cursed or not).

Sure I love how they added some new features but they took away some very useful features that used to be in the old UI. They also made it less ergonomic...

Yeah I'm still annoyed about

Yeah I'm still annoyed about the weapon status thing. If you do as I do and turn off the weapon-switching icons (because honestly who needs those to see what you're already holding), there's absolutely no way of telling which weapon is cursed or not, other than trying to use it and finding out the hard way.

Oh, another idea

An itty bitty vitapod image next to their health bar, like you have your heart next to yours (the heart with the % in it, like dis: <%3)
Just large enough to see a little number on it if you look closer, but not too large as to be obstructive. Just a "hey, I got a vitapod guys!" notification basis.
For total health calculation, inspect for perks and trinkets.
I like to keep UI/HUD minimum.
Honestly? I'd love an option to completely toggle the UI/HUD away, at least to take more beautiful screenshots for the wiki, if not to "live dangerously" as well. I've seen this suggestion around too. I dun lyke things in mah face.

How do you answer the phone? Do you say "Hello, Dracora-Speaking speaking?"?

Sigh...

I really miss the good features that disappeared from the old UI. Why couldn't they just kept most of those features without cluttering the UI up like that. I miss the animated parts of the UI too. Anyone remember the spinning gears around the minimap, etc? It actually felt like it fit the SK theme, now it's just overly flashy.
