Try using a Vortex (preferrably Electron) and then letting loose a charge.
Groups stuff up, then wham, all of them get hit at the same time from the troika charge. Fun stuff.

I personally use an Undead VH Suda along with EV every once in a while when I roll FSC. It's honestly quite effective, almost comparable to Brandishes.

Emphasis on "almost". It's still not gonna be the best thing ever, sadly.
But if I said it wasn't fun, I'd be lying.

Yup. While it's riskier and weaker, it's definitely more fun to use a non-op weapon. You can still dish out about 1100 damage per enemy per charge anyway, so it is good and it can one-shot some crowds depending on difficulty and party size.

Troikas are definitely a good time.
You're going to want to stack the charge time reduction onto it, and then go around smashing things.

Nice UV there. Real good for Vana. I really like using Sudaruska/Triglav in FSC because of it's charge attack.
If you're only using it for PvE, then sure thing.
Then again, Troika's are more of an acquired taste. If you want it just for fun, then the Undead High is great if you bring it with you to FSC/Graveyards.
