SOOO, I was doing Vana with my friend Rhyperior-Xy, and I'm only 4*, and I die pretty quickly. We were doing charred court (25), puppy gun room, when i die first because i THOUGHT i knew how to solo it, but i was wrong. He then comes in, tries to solo it, but then also dies. He says that I have to pay him because i made him die. I think thats extremely stupid, and join another party. He then PMs me, saying i either pay him, or he will say to most of his friends that I didn't pay him. I obviously thought paying him was stupid, so he started PMing his friends to report me. Now, I'm a little bit worried that Spiral Knights will actually ban me because of this. Could this actually happen? Of course, if he doesn't actually talked to his friends, this is nothing to worry about, but if he does, I'm just worried. Is there anything I can do?
Just Wondering.....
As far as I know, GMs record chat logs. As long as you have your side of the story, GMs can reconsider. Personally, I always keep proof of a conversation in Spiral Knights, especially when it's already some sort of threatening.
Paying a 'friend' an amount because of him recklessly soloing a room that you died in is really stupid. tl;dr : I agree.
@Fangel - I think that only works with comments. It's probably the one in the top-left.
Don't sweat the petty stuff my friend. If he died, he has no one to blame but himself.
You could try to:
- Write your friends list down
- unfriend all your friends
- buy a name change
- change your name
- friend all your friends back
That's incredibly dumb. If y'all can't do the Rocket Puppy room, then why would you even attempt. I've been playing for 3 years and I don't even attempt the room because I normally end up dead. You don't have to 100% complete the charred court to move on to the next level.
My friend once got banned for telling others to spam reports on someone although he didn't do anything, and at the end my friend got banned instead, so don't worry, I don't think anything will happen.
Spiral Knights support can look over the chat logs and see if you committed any offense. As long as you didn't do anything that is against the terms of service or basic player kindness, then you should have nothing to worry about.
Players like those don't deserve to be on your friends list. Although, I would recommend removing their actual name from your post, as there is a forum rule of no "naming and shaming", and you aren't exactly putting this player in a good light. At the bottom left of your post there should be an "edit" button to assist in doing this.
