I see some people mostly use dual alchemists and watnot. Hoo uses other dual guns and whai? I use dual magni cuz it's like hevie matchin goon with no reloadz.
Dos magnos and otter dual wepeons
Wat heppens wen you ad asi to mangus? does it mack it eazyer to single wepeon switch?
Also @Dubsville I haz tried drool catalinkillers. Its like a trail of mini bombs Qu Q
Not yellow nuff doe
Arguably. While it will make it harder to push buttons faster than the game allows, which causes the use of a full clip, it also means you can just do it faster so it's plain more preferable.
Still, having no ASI will make it take more time for the weapon timer to reset, so you can switch shoot slower if you can't keep up. You should really practice if you can't keep the pace when using Magnuses, though.
Yu sed it macks it hearder to push batons faster than the game allowances...whai is dat? Otter dan dat, berry intersting :u

Switch input can be queued while you're attacking, but before you do your second switch input, you should wait until your character has actually switched off to a different weapon. If you do the inputs too quickly, you'll end up either doubleshooting (forces reload) or switch to the wrong weapon. Having higher ASI means you'll have to wait less for your character to finish attacking and switch.
It's really a matter of rhythm. There are some audio/visual cues you can use (shield circle, or the 'click' UI sfx) to get your timing as close to perfect as possible.
Sow den dos magnos with lettuce say....a Serious Masq, Goonslinger Sash, and a Swiftstep Seatbuckle and the asi low from le Butter Sprite...asi max den; woodn't that set mack it eazyer to switch shoot and has a lower chans of forcing a reload compared to single wepeon switching and ether fireng the rung wepeon or forcing a reload?
I mean as wan hoo experimentations with dual goons (antigs, blasters, autogoons, catas, pulsers, etc.) I do find dat pudding inputs in to quikly messes things up, dat wan does make inputs fester dan the game allowances, and dat ASI does help. I justice find it herder to single switch, dough I do it a lot with any hevie sord.
Well, yes. But that 'chance' is something you can overcome with experience, being more comfortable with controls, or just getting used to the movement.
I actually double-switch (single-weapon switch) pretty fluidly:
6 live biohazard shots at once with a single gun
Honestly, it's fun for me to do and one of the main reasons I use guns :3
Wat controls doo ya use!?!? I haz trekball, switch with maus will, z and x as atack and shelld respectfully.
oohhhh interesting. Trackball mice I've used before didn't have a wheel (the ball was where the wheel would have been).
I use a standard two-button mouse with a wheel, and the rest are controls I've had since I started playing SK:
[Attack] - Left click
[Shield] - Left Shift, Left Control (either way, pinky)
[Next/Prev] - Mouse Wheel
I often tell people that they don't have to use my exact control scheme - they just need to use something that's comfortable for them (I know a lot of people who are not comfortable using their pinkies for controls). In fact, when I was first introduced to the technique, it was suggested to use direct-weapon hotkeys (like using '1' to switch to weapon 1). I decided to look past that and really learn the mechanics behind it to self-teach the way I do it now, which doesn't get in the way of using my left hand to move via WASD - basically, a way to use the mechanic without sacrificing comfort or movement.
That said, each 'attack' is some kind of permutation of : [next][attack]-[shield][prev].
If you ever get it down, it'll totally free up your loadouts - no more need for having two of the same gun, and no more need to use two guns if you only plan to use one.
I like to use Callahan and Slug in T3 LD, guard or recon (ASI Max). If I use AT I can get 7k's or so without too much trouble, but I quit using AT so now I am not that great at it. I also use Argent Peacemaker+Sentenza rarely for shooting those who are charging. Neutralizer and Biohazard I use slightly more often than Antiguas, but I tend to just end up using one of the guns most of the time. I've also used Pepper+Blitz like, once. Not a great idea.
Switch-shooting punch guns in tier 1 is actually kind of fun, the knockback from doing this is actually enough to keep one or two enemies from even getting near you since you're shooting them back so fast.
Due to the slow speed of Magnuses, it's not that hard to just single weapon switch shoot them. I do that a lot with my Mega Magnus.
