Instead of having three individual fire crystals drop and then having them to continue to fill the chat with three individual messages whenever you come across a prize box that drops them, why not just have one individual fire crystal icon drop and then put a "x3!" sprite somewhere on the icon? Then once it's picked up by the player you could have it say something in the chat about having received x3 fire crystals which would only take one message in the chat. It just gets annoying to have your player's chat spammed with all of the fire crystal messages when you're on a Clockworks run of some sort and you're also trying to socialize with maybe your party, friends, or guild.
