All these items are basically unusable: Tri-Guard Armor, Tri-Guard Helm, Green Ward, Red Saber, Chilling Duelist and Static Flash (1*)
All of these different gears should come with bound recipes to upgrade them.

Red Saber: Basically a Striker Crafting Line with a bit more normal damage and fire damage instead of poison.

Chilling Duelist: Master Blaster Crafting Line with a chance of causing strong freeze.

Green Ward: Normal Resistance of Crest Of Almire, Shadow Resistance of Dread Skelly Shield, and the Health Stat a little smaller then The Bitter End. (5*)

Tri-Guard Armor: Almirian Crusader Crafting Line but instead of shadow resistance elemental resistance; a little increase of fire, freeze, and shock resistance.

Tri-Guard Helm: Same as Tri-Guard Armor.

Static Flash: Nitronome line but with a Good chance of causing Minor Shock.

Anyone agree with the whole idea of a crafting line of these items?

No. The starter pack does exactly what it's supposed to do; it (debatably) gives items that are good for players who are just starting the game. Hence why it's called the Starter Pack.

Agreed! +1

+1 as there is no reason to buy this pack, why would i need starter items when that cobalt gear i get in a few missions is much better?
and scince you get the them cobalt recipes for free anyway i dont see why you shouldnt just natrually get all these recipes?

maybe you get them after doing the hall of heroes instead though, just so they arent entirely a free pass?

Welllll, ......................

@Dibsville
A starter pack should be useful for at least a second. You receive 2 star gear at some point implying that you can only use this gear for about 4 missions. These items can at least be useful like the swiftstrike buckler, 2 star gear but actually useful.

The Starter Pack has been useless ever since missions were added, so why should it change now?

Don't forget that the starter pack, which costs $19.95 USD, also comes with:

7500 Energy (normally costs $19.95 USD)
A free weapon slot upgrade (usually 250 Energy)
A 30-day Heat Amplifier (usually costs 5000 Energy)
10 Sparks of Life to use in your exploration of the clockworks (usually costs 200 Energy)
A unique artifact (not really useful, but it's cool to have)

You're getting almost $40 worth of stuff for $20, and that's not counting the weapons and armor you get from the Starter Pack, which you could sell for just that much more money.
