  • New items: Rainbow Mote/Dust/Stone/Orb/Star
  • How to obtain: Craft at the Food Alchemy Machine
  • Recipe: 1/2/3/4/5 of every mineral, and a 2 materials of matching star level
  • Use: When eaten by a Sprite, if the Rainbow food has the same amount of stars as the Sprite's favored food, it will fill the Sprite up just as much as if the Sprite ate its favored food.*

* As an example, my Drakon favors Power Stars right now. (Sounds a lot like Super Mario) If I have 5 of each type of mineral and 2 5* materials, I can craft a Rainbow Star. If I feed this Rainbow Star to my Drakon, its appetite bar will fill as much as if it was a Power Star. HOWEVER, I cannot level up my Drakon with a Rainbow Star; Only Power Stars can do that.

(No, I am not going to explain why I am suggesting this idea or what it aims to fix. That's up to the readers.)

Cool Concept Comrade

its a nice idea in theory but...
5 to make a mote, 5 total to make a rainbow mote which feeds a great amount?

I think making it out of atleast 3 variants of minerals to make the normal amount would be better and it should take 3 materials
EG: I use 3 Valestone, 1 Moonstone, 1 Dark matter and 3 1* mats to make 1 Rainbow Mote, but I use say 4 Luminite, 3 Crimsonite, 1 Moonstone and 2 Dark matter +3 2* mats to make Rainbow dust and I use 10 valestone, 10 dark matter, 2 crimsonite, 3 moonstone and 3 5* mats

Roses are red, murder is blue, yet they don't have a clue.

Won't this just be plain useless as you can craft a normal sprite food and feed it for the same amount AND cheaper?

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

The idea is that it uses your excess minerals, including Moonstone and Valestone, which are useless. I was originally considering only using Valestone and Moonstone, but someone pointed out that it wouldn't work to do that if/when they add Moonstone and Valestone Sprites, then it would clash with those new foods.

@Pipipipipi

It still costs the same amount of resources in total. So, for a Star...

5 Valestone, 5 Moonstone, 5 Crimsonite, 5 Dark Matter, and 5 Luminite = 25 minerals in total. Combine that with a (possibly increased) crown cost and two 5* materials, and your total cost is still the same.

The reason why you can't level Sprites with this stuff is because I still want specific mineral colors to keep their value.

EDIT: Oh, and if they ever want to give away Sprite food, Rainbow-type food would be perfect because anyone could use the stuff.

What this will do is make choosing between mineral types nearly pointless..

If anything should change about Valestone/Moonstone, those types should just stop appearing.

Just until we have a use for them, anyway.
