New specialist armours

As we all know there are several specialist armors and even a few specialist weapons.

So far the only monsters covered by specialist are Fiend, undead, beast, and slime.

While there are two weapons that are made to combat gremlins (Blackhawk, and Sentenza) and two for construct (deconstructor, heavy deconstructor) these weapons don't really pack much of a punch.

I would like to see some more weapons and armor designed for construct and gremlins.

Perhaps an elemental magnus line for constructs, a shadow calibur line made for gremlins.

A poison and elemental jelly mail (minus normal) made for constructs.
A hybrid wolver set with elemental plus med asi and attack with gremlin boost.

Any thoughts about this or ideas of your own?

At least finish the old sets

We don't have a radiant silvermail helmet equivalent yet, and should really have one.

And I like to think that gremlins and constructs are the sort of enemy that don't have any partial weakness. It makes sense for predators to deal extra damage against beasts and slimes, and holy things against fiends and undead... But I can't see any direct weakness to a genius species (mechanical geniuses) or their constructions other than the weapons with bonuses. (even then, sentenza is iffy)

I like the idea but I can't think of anything that really fits into the rest of the spiral knights realm.

@fangel

I have the silvermail armor and I too want a helm for it (perfect for blight boulevard and snarby shadow lair).

As for the enemy of mechanization try magic (psychic, or alchemy) as that would be the opposite of science, a cave-knight design with a club made for smashing, or perhaps an armor that puts it in direct competition like a steampunk design.

Cool Concept Comrade!

personally I think constructs are pretty easy to deal with (except the knights)
but I would like to see more armour aimed at a others to do with armour sets, like maybe a demo set that deals more damage to constructs or gremlins

@Fangel
if we think of sword users as predators (your wearing the skin of the wolvers you killed), gunners as exorcists (see if anyone gets that reference) and bombers as demolitions, it makes more sense to frag a humanoid or blow up a tank/vehicle then it does to blow up a wolf or a piece of jelly

the bombers already resist elemental anyway and they need a little love, why not give bombastic or volcanic a damage boost to construct/gremlins?
I suppose you could argue sword users don't get a damage buff to wolvers, but wild hunting blade and good versatility vs. everything already makes them good anyway (WHB, CIV and low levelled things like slime slasher, thwack hammer etc)
gunners are getting a peirce Antigua line which OOO is taking there time with plus they also have all 3 defences covered (Sentenza, Argent, punch gun early on, Blitz and Callahan were already really good pierce weapons)

bombers don't have anything useful against much, Radiant sun shard and shocking salt shard but DBB and Dark Retribution are much better in general and even then shock and stun is harder to hit with shard bombs than the mist bombs (and the shards is a FAIR chance not a GOOD chance)

Magic does sounds like something.

Explosives work for constructs, and as such some guns might fall into that line too. I'd love to see the Iron Slug get a damage bonus VS constructs. We see earlier guns with similar attack patterns deal out that sort of damage to constructs, and any buff is good for the Iron Slug.
On that same line, I'd love to see an elemental blast bomb show its face. Maybe make it branch off from the blast bomb at 3* and follow a line similar to the deconstructor, except going to 5-star.
Oh! And add damage vs constructs: low on each piece of the mercurial demo set! That seems construct-y, and you know, bombs.

Gremlins I have always seen as having a gun weakness, especially because they try so hard to dodge bullets. If the announced "Grim Repeater" is indeed a shadow autogun... Well I don't think that even needs a gremlin bonus, autoguns are overpowered.
I like the idea of a shadow calibur with gremlin med on it. Calibur line is often overlooked, and releasing a charge attack while gremlins try to pounce on top of you is already pretty fulfilling.
So how about a gunslinger line with a gremlin damage bonus plus a low damage bonus universally? (That might be a bad idea for universally, but I'm trying to think how to make this not a clone of deadshot just for gremlins) Give it a mix of stun resistance and fire resistance, but only +3 each, not +4 each.
