I'm not sure if this is a Bug, a suggestion, or common sense...
OOO has spent many hours creating missions with nice story lines. Normally in the course of the mission, other NPC Knights are present and one can speak them them. When you do, a little text balloon pops up with some dialog.
At defaultl settings for the game there are three problems:
1) The player's character name is displayed over the head of their character ... and on top of the dialog in the text balloon. (yes I know there is an option to turn it off, I said default settings)
2) The dialog is on an automatic display timer, and will disappear, just before one finishes reading it (partially due to seeing around Problem 1)
3) The font size is about 6 point ... WAAAAY too small for all but the youngest of eyes (and then they must be sitting 8 inches from the screen).
Suggested solution:
Please echo the NPC character text in the chat dialog stream. Give it a unique color if you wish. But it would allow the players who are *trying* to enjoy the story/lore read, reread, and ponder the words of the characters they meet along the way (you can even have some fun making up names for all the NPCs in the mission - Gus, Fred, Bruhnhilda, Sid, Gladys etc.). For now the normal chat dialog is about 10 point size and can be read much more easily. This would also remove the problem of the Player character name blocking the text and the short timer for each message. Most characters will not repeat their message if clicked on again, but move on to the 'next' message in their sequence.
Please help us all enjoy the game a bit more (at least those of us who are patient enough to actually read the dialog and 'Explore' the missions).
Thanks!
