How exactly do I lock in a varient?

Okay, so I've just decided to make a snarbolax set(yes I am a vanguard, no this isn't my first set) and I was reading through the wiki to see if I had the materials to make it (crowns and energy are not a problem) and it says I need two nightmare manes. What I want to know is how exactly do you obtain a nightmare mane? It says that they "can be obtained from the Sanctuary after completing the Shadow Lair Gloaming Wildwoods". However, I find confusing (English isn't my first language, sorry), would someone please clarify for me?

One thing that you might not like is the whole mist energy thing, and how you cannot continuously make money and get rich since it takes 14 minutes to regenerate one energy.

Yes, you are limited to doing missions while you do not have enough energy, but that doesn't make you limited to not being able to make some pocket change.

Is there a pattern to Vanaduke's shadow fire tile creation?

Solo'ing FSC is a daily routine to me now, but one thing that may still trouble me is the shadow fire created by Vanaduke's mace smash: debris fall, parts of the floor light up, then shadow fire tiles may appear.

I usually try to move away from the lit floor; but as far as I can tell the location of shadow fire tiles is not really related to lit up parts. Shadow fire tiles may appear there, or may just pop into right where I was running towards.

this is for the new people these are some helpfull hints and things you can do.
things u can do:
1. do runs (mission or arcade) this is called grinding, doing things like jelly king or snarby runs when you start are a good way to earn cr and tokens
2. learn to manage your energy do not use revs unless team is all dead. reason is because a nother player can come over an get u up by giving half their hp to u but it cost u 30% of your heat.

Well I'm currently a bomber but want to try something more hybrid, I happen to fall on the Magic armor set which I find horribly attractive and pretty viable, though I can't seem to decide on a weapon..or weapons...I wouldn't mind using any of three types, guns bombs swords, don't matter to me just something interesting and fun :)
I'm also getting destroyed in the 5-1 through 5-5 missions being that they're all shadow damage and I can't seem to take a few hits without falling flat on my butt.
Any help is appreciated!

Okay so right now I am signing in with Steam. I REALLY want to purchase some in-game stuff but then I don't have a credit card.
And Steam needs credit card payment to purchase any or anything of it's games. Which means I cannot buy in-game SK stuff.
Now, I made a new account solely for buying in-game purchases because Three Rings actually support non-credit payment
Which means I could buy!

Now, I am interested in buying a 1-month Elevator Pass because that would mean I can keep on playing right?
