I dabbled in Spiral Knights ages ago, when energy had to be spent to traverse levels. I wandered away for a while and now I'm back and everything is changed! I'd like to get some questions answered, if I may.
1.) There are items whose appearance when previewed at market is not the same as its icon on the wiki. Example: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Kat_Eye_Mask The white face of this mask appears to be purple when viewed on the paper doll. Does the color of armor change depending on certain character generation choices? Is it a bug in the previewer? What's going on?
If I play a level with a fully heated item and some items that aren't, will the heat that was supposed to go to the heated item be given to the other items?
I'm a newbie to the game and I want to have some good allies. I don't want to befriend some guy who turns out to be a total jerk, but its hard to judge what someone is like in a game. If I end up joining a guild I want it to be one with friendly players who are willing to help the noobs.

anyway i have one little problem i keep getting DCs and no idea why,i am from europe my internet speed is 10 mb/s (download speed around 1 mb/s)
any idea what can it be? i redid starting tutorial 3 times becouse of dc xD anyway thanks!
also dose game have regular content update? like maps new dungeons and active devs?
