Hi all - I've decided to start playing again (Steam tricked me into it with that subliminal advertising...), and I am having trouble with damage output. I'm also trying to figure out what route to go in order to improve said damage. My current equips!

Is it possible to find a weapon in the game?

I was doing a snarbo run and one of the treasure boxes I broke gave me a brandish. I wish I had a screenshot, but alas I didn't think at the time.

It wasn't traded to me, nor was it in my mailbox: it also clearly said "Pyrohkiin found brandish" in the lower left corner.

I asked other players in the game, but they didn't know of such circumstances. Has anyone ever found a weapon, or had a similar experience?

Any help is appreciated.

In reference specifically to dual-type weapons against monsters, How does the Weakness/Resistance to Special Damages system work?

Okay, so I have two sort of unrelated questions, but I'm posting them both in one thread to avoid clutter.

First off, how do bosses work? I only recently gained T2 access, and have only ever run into one boss - Snarbolax, in Tier 1. Mainly, I want to know how to find them. I checked the wiki, but I didn't really find any useful information. The Firestorm Citadel seems to be at a fixed depth, but I wasn't able to find any of the other boss dungeons on the map I checked.

Why does spiral knights lag so much? It keeps FREEZING and FREEZING and FREEZING over and over again! I can't play it anymore! I have the newest Java and windows 7.

So i realy like the idea of having a sword and a gun but it seems that everywhere i look most people are only focused on one. I just started so can anyone give me some advice about keeping mixed weapons? As of now i have a calibur and an autogun
