Title. Wiki says that it takes 200 energy to make a 3 star item. do I have to buy the energy or can I deposit the energy in increments...? I would rather not HAVE to spend money just to make an item.

Hi, I recently started playing Spiral Knights, and I find it extremely addicting. Though I would like some advice on what to buy, and what's a good setup for a noob. When I say setup I mean like armor, shield, handgun, bombs, etc. I'm looking for decent/not to expensive stuff. So far, I'm looking into getting Cobalt armor, and I have the heavy hatchet, proto armor/shield/handgun, and miner hat. Please, help.

i haven't had the nerve to go to tier 2 yet.

im wondering to all of those who have if its much harder then tier 1 or if its really something
i don't need to worry about. if you could leave me some examples of whats in tier 2 or
a weapon it would be good to have let me know in your comments. :) thanks.

So I was soloing Snarbolax and the first two bell rings were successful but every single one after that he never turned Yellow again. I let myself get hit many times just so that he appeared right next to the bell when I hit it and he still remained Black. Is there a reason why the bell doesn't work on him after two hits? Is this a bug or something? Thanks in advance folks.

Currently at Tier 2, I'm trying to find a complementary weapon.

Reached Haven not too long ago, and though I have the Brandish and Wolver Cloak and Cap in mind, I don't exactly know what I should get for a shield/sidearm. On that note, would a handgun or bomb be better for most cases?

I heard about a new Promotional Helmet in Spiral Knights, but never saw anything in the Wiki or Haven...Until now. I saw someone with the Mask & I've gotta say, it's pretty sweet. How do you get it?

I'd like to be able to get the steam achievements and still connect to facebook. Is this possible? Am I missing something or do you just have to choose to have a web account with facebook or a steam account?

This also goes for the Trinket Slots and the Heat Amplifier I guess, but I'm wondering when it says 30 days, does that mean 30 days of play or 30 days in general as in even if I'm not logged in? Thanks in advance.
