Can you roll sleep UVs on gear yet? Thanks.

Ok, I'm not exactly new to the game. I've played it a lot, but it was mostly a long time ago, before even the pets update. So I found myself kind of stuck.
I don't know if the updates changed a lot of the difficulty of the game overall, or if my weapons have been nerfed, but I'm finding it really hard to progress now.
The reason I stopped playing the game was because I got stuck at that mission that requires you to have 3 star gear to continue, and I wasn't yet very good at speaking english, so it was impossible to know what to do, I just knew I had to get 3 starred gear.

I am a total noob, returning after being absent for about 5 or 6 years. I had no clue Spiral Knights was still active. I left when Sega took over. I planned on returning but heard OOO had been dismantled.

So I have been a swordsman for many years since I started playing SK, and now I have decided to make a change to pure gunner, as it seems to be a good option for my play style.

The one question is, what in you people's opinion is the best control scheme to use for single switching? I know that there have been people who have made tutorials for this, but I would like some tips from those who know and do it best.

Any tips are appreciated for my journey to pure gunner.

I have a character that's pretty much all guns, all four slots occupied by guns, mostly all maximum ASI, CTR, and Gun Damage. I'm wondering if I could get some tips for bombing, and what I should try. I got all damage types for each slot, all sheer offense (got a Carbine for poison, though). Any tips on where to start? I heard the Shard bombs are somewhat making a comeback, and I'm not sure if Haze bombs can give me an end result greater than just shootin' lemons at the enemies.
Current weapons are Wildfire, Blitz, Obsidian Carbine, and Iron Slug.

I find it really problematic to find orbs. Specifically 2 star 3 star and 4 star orbs. Does anyone know any good places to farm them? Specifically, im looking for good missions. I have done arcade too many time without success.

Also, would it be hard to add a spell check function? my spelling is horrible. (without google)

Hey everyone at the Spiral Knights forum! I have recently started playing and just got into the Haven. So, I just want to ask:
Do you have any tips for me starting out?
I think this is a really great game, but I'd like some advice. Also here's some questions I want answered:

Where do I find crowns on my hud?
How do I get crowns?
Is there an item economy comparable to, let's say, the TF2 economy (I use that example because I know it best)?
I know that you can trade crowns for energy and vice versa, but do the values go up or down?

I've noticed a bunch on people on the forum with different pictures for their profile, but I haven't figured out how to change mine. Is it because I use a steam account?

This might be my third time returning to SK, but I am not certain if there were many changes since my last visit. The reason I stopped playing last time was the endless grindfest to get those crystals for forging. So I was wondering if it is still as repetitive as before or if they finally removed the system now that it is under new direction.

I played Spiral Knights a longggg time ago ... so long ago that I don't exactly remember how long ago! And now I'm wanting to check it back out again!

I definitely remember having a battle sprite (that angel cat is just too cute to forget).

Would y'all be so kind as to enlighten me the major game/community changes that've happened since the battle sprite update, in as much detail as y'all are willing to give? New content, new items, the-sickest-new-farming-strat-that-takes-exactly-this-kind-of-micro-managing-attention-to-detail-to-perform, etc... :)
