Im thinking of buying OCH with energy and I have a question

Do I have to play spiral knights on steam to buy it with energy from someone?

EDIT:

I have edited the title to better reflect everything since I'm going to continue looking into this.

After numerous testing against a Trojan on Depth 20 on Return to Ur I have pretty much come up with a conclusion that Status does indeed play a bigger role than Defense on how much the Shield absorbs damage.

Hello. I was wondering how you get your 3 star gear to 4 star because it requires level 5. I have a 3 star sword over level 5 but it is bound so i can't use that. Then i created another 3 star sword that is not bound but how do i level it up?

Spending Limit Release Date?

I'm in no way new to Spiral Knights but I was wondering if there was some way of finding out what day your spending limit will be reset? And yes, I know you can ask a GameMaster to raise your spending limit, I'm just wondering when it will tick over. Thanks

I know how to get there and all that, what I mean is if I get a key how I'm I supposed to get the other 3 party members (cause I have no idea if it can be soloed). Like is there a way to recruit for this kind of thing in game or can I join some guild (gear-wise I got pretty much everything, so that's not a issue) that does a lot of runs? Also I'm not even sure if it's worth it since I can just buy all the exclusive items at AH any time I want anyways.

I enjoy carrying new recruits along in whatever levels they want! Even if you need crowns from King of Ashes or to advance in rank, I can help you on your mission.

Well I tried looking in the wiki but none of them stated at which mission lobby can I buy the recipe from. So can anyone tell me where I can find the recipe via mission lobby?

Max heat and excess heat distrbution.

Hi all, recently started playing again because it is more affordable now, but that forge thing feels a little dodgy.

If my item is in max heat, does the share of heat that the item would have normally received, gets channeled away and distributed to my other items?
Or does the excess heat just get sucked up and wasted by the item in max heat?
