I don't know if this is true but aparently you have to down somthing to get the next version of Spiral Knights! I am confused

So... how do I d/c my knight in Haven with Windows 8? You know, like with Windows 7 or maybe even others you could go to the task manager and choose to end the process and that would exit SK but still leave you logged in. In Windows 8 doing that same thing logs me out. :(

I've heard that turning off AT will also disable the health display in the upper right corner of the screen. Is that true?

Hey! and thanks for checking, i have a question that is probably a little dumb, but we where all newbies at one point and time.. So here i go!

I'm currently dabbling in between 2 star and 3 star items, and progression is feeling very sluggish, I'm having a really hard time obtaining the Alchemy orbs required for T3 items, but after spending most my crowns, and getting about 4 from dungeon delving i have one piece left to go.

Hi, I'm relatively new. By that, I mean, I have little to no knowledge of the game. I currently have some 4* gear, sure....but it's like OHHH SHINY STARS ~get~ and doing the Hall of Heroes missions more so than actually knowing why I got my gear.

Current gear:
Armor/Shield:
Miracle Hood (No UVs)
Ash Tail Coat (No UVs)
Wise Owlite Shield (Max Pierce Def, Low Elemental Def)
Weapons (Which I use two of at a time):
SilverSix (No UVs)
Blackhawk (No UVs)
BlizzBrand (No UVs)
Nightblade (No UVs) <- I'd like to 4* this, but I've run out of elite orbs at the time of posting.

1. If I got Companion Prize Boxes when I'm Knight elite. Will I get better reward if I'm vanguard?
2. Seriously.... I heard that cautery sword is OP in LD. But how?! Or it's just a joke?
3. Can we kill vanaduke with only Boltbrand? If not... Please tel me what other 4* weapon should I have? And also I can only use 2 of them (Or 3 if I really need to).

Should I focus more on armor that improves the weapons I use (I'm a gun/bomb hybrid), or should I go more for armor sets that protect against particular damage types (shadow, elemental, etc.)?

How do i get rid of it? Is there a bank or something I can put it into. It says you can't sell it ><
