Is it completely random, or is it based on like the amount of time you spend or something?

I remember the first time I did this mission, back when it came out. I played solo on Normal difficulty, and I spent more Sparks of Life than I have ever done before...

I saw this topic about the Winmillion needing a 5-star version, and everyone were saying that it was already overpowered, should be nerfed, and stuff like that, but I honestly don't get it. I even have the Winmillion. It's the primary weapon for my alternate knight.

Damage-wise it's quite a bit weaker than the Ascended Calibur, even if you hit with its projectile on every hit, which its attack speed makes up for, but that only makes it an average 4-star Normal damage weapon. What in the world makes that "OP"?

It's been a while! (Few years...)

I've not played since the collapse of Jempire. Before I install again, I'd like to ask a few questions!

1) Is the game more stable?
- In the past, the game ran through Java which had severe memory leak issues to the point of crippling a pc's processes after only an hour of playing.

2) Is there new content?
- I haven't played in years, whats changed?

3) Where in cradle is King-Tinkinzar?
- The player, not the gremlin. I gave him my darkfang shield, I want it back ;D

Getting a friend on Steam to install the game, buy the Iron Wolf and Gold Wolf stuff on the Steam Market, unpack them and trade them to me in-game, so I can sell them on the Auction House.

Let me just get this out of the way, I'm not a noob asking what 1-star weapons are the best, I'm a long-time veteran with eyes set on a few really weak weapons that I want to make as powerful as possible!

1 star weapons tend to lose their usefulness pretty quickly in Tier 1. Now I haven't extensively tested, but I already felt my Twack Hammer being too weak on Depth 3 on Elite difficulty.

Hail, Fellow Knights!

I'm a bit of a newbie and am still learning the ropes. I'm a Knight moving on up to Knight Elite, and I am starting to get interested in bombing. I love using all the weapons (GO TROIKA), but bombs have caught my eye. I made a three-star freezing vaporizer which I find to be great at keeping enemies together for more powerful attacks (Or another bomb). Any other suggestions? Anything I should know about bombing? Any tips & tricks? Is bombing solo a good idea? Do any of you bomb as a Vanguard?

I've recently started out and so far I'm liking the Hybrid Gun/Sword Build (currently still at 2*). But moving forward weapon-wise, I am thinking of doing a shadow sword and elemental gun, maybe the nightblade line and the voltech alchemer line. I prefer shadow sword because of the slimes and melee gremlins; elem gun for the puppies and mecha knights.

Can I carry this plan towards the endgame?
Should I switch for an elem sword and shadow gun instead?
If you have suggestion for other weapons/armor I'd really appreciate that!

I've been playing Spiral Knights for quite a while now, and have done every mission. I'm wondering what else can be done in the game than do the missions again on elite. Is there anything custom I could do or maybe challenges? I really am losing interest despite wanting to keep playing.

In the Market (Supply Depot) I posted 4 offers, 10,4k crowns for 100 energy each one. When I log in, after a while, I got 2 mails from the "EnergyDepot" with the following messages:

Crowns Recieved

You have been refunded 1,520 crowns as the result of an energy trade taking place for less than your posted buy price (and the 1,520 crowns)

Energy Recieved

You have recieved 400 energy as the result of an energy trade (and the 400 energy)

I got 380 crowns free for each trade wtf?
