Two questions, simple.

-Are we allowed to, and how do you do it on a mac?

1.Is jelly armor set any good?(2*) Comparing to the colbalt set that you get from the rank 4 missions, which one is better?
2.Trojan knight in the 3-2(4) mission( blades of the fallen ) almost scared my pants off when i encountered it for the 1st time( 3 bar of the health per hit, ouch). Is there any possible tactics for noobs like me(2* cutter and autogun is my weapon of choice) to beat that monstrosity?

Sorry if this is a already answer question but i'm serious about it.
What so good about bts?Is it about the damage sword bonus(medium)? or just to fit the full snarby set?
And in overall,dss had better piercing and elemental resistant than a bts piercing but why dss so rare?O.O" i rarely see anyone use it though,while bts..haha everyone use it,way too common as da.

So what do you prefer?i'm thinking getting dss first then went to bts because the recipe is hard to get while dss got better resist overall.

I will give an example:

Item: Horned Owlite Shield

Recipe: 4.000
Craft : 1.000
Materials: 2.500 (the owlite shield prize and materials)
Energy cost: 18.000 (it cost 200 CE to craft, and 100 ce is currently worth 9.000 crowns)

Total cost: 25.500 crowns
price on AH: 20.500

as you can see, its WAY cheaper to buy on the AH. this lead to the following questions:

1)As a buyer, is there any reason I should Craft the item myself? (instead of buying it on the AH)

I am a tier 2 swordsman who like to use my flourish (Almost about to upgrade to swift) and Shockburst brandish but my armor really sucks and I need suggestions

I just saw the true power of a Freezing vaporizer in a JK run and now i'm so addicted to it lol. But i still find it easier to use my new thornblade and shockburst brandish. lately i just bought a Wolver(about to be Dusker)coat and i bomb helmet because im sort of hybrid between the sword and bomb. And I really don't know how my current armour will turn out in the long run. I AM I TROUBLE!!!

does elemental armour only defend against one type of element? for example would a normal vog cub coat defend just fire but not any other elements or all elements are defended or all elements are defended but fire is the most defended element?

I'm always hearing everyone saying that they use steam for other games and including Spiral knights. So, can someone please explain what steam is?

Hello, we all know sometimes our overlay crashes and we get stuck and one spot. However, It can be fixed without restarting sk. (windows only)

1. control+alt+del or windows key, right click, and then start task manager to start up, task manager.

2. Go to processes

3. find GameOverlayUI.exe and select it

4. hit del and enter.

Steam will notice that the overlay has been closed and will reboot it.

Thats how to fix the Steam Overlay problem.

This may have been here before, but im refreshing it to make sure that steam users know.

Okay, so this may seem off, but I've been searching everywhere and I am unable to find the answer I'm looking for.

When you craft a 3* item, is that item weaker if you do not max the 2* item first?

Same with 4* recipes, I know they require a 3* to be lvl5+, but if you craft it immediately at lvl5 (rather than maxing it at 10) does the new 4* item have less stats, than if you were to max the previous item?
