I know that, at least for me, a good general basis for a story can be hard to come up with. This is an open thread, where anyone can post, whether it be full-length, or just short stories. Here's the basic plot:

-stories are during the Morai Wars, before the fall of Isora.

-Morai are the same as knights in most respective aspects (think Jedi vs. Sith--similar weapons and tactics, different sides.)

-The wars have spread through the galaxy, so feel free to create your own planets.

-the Morai are invaders with unknown motivations

For a fan fiction that you submit apps towards, what makes you want to submit an app and read?

What sort of things draw your eye when you look at prospective fan fictions?

What makes you want to read a fan fiction?

I've seen many adequate fan fictions die from lack of interest. Some really good authors don't let the lack of attention and persist writing (my kudos to them). I just want to see what the community would like to see in fan fictions, maybe help boost the readership and lower the death rate for fan fictions (can't remember any that actually survived until the end).

Uh... Hi. I've been gone for a while, can anyone tell me what I've missed in my exceptionally long absence?

Okay, so here goes. This is my first commish area, so be prepared. I am terrible at freehand drawing. All drawings will be pencil, grayscale, and a copy of the picture you give me. Part of this is my inabilities, but a good pencil drawing with quality shading is one of my favorite things.

So.
Where should I begin?
The Tales of Yore, so often told- It feels like someone plays a repeated tape inside my head. Once you hear it one time, the same is true for everything else... Normally.
Behind my back, a paused copy of "The Desolation of Smaugh" on the Tv, "Arcanum", "Harry Potter", "Tithe" I have all sorts of links to fiction, And so it seems normal to me, having Elves and Dwarves mucking about, Dragons being boss, and towns and villages being pillaged by orcs and goblins.

It is my dream to make a game that is as close to the Spiral Knights lore and logic as possible. I plan to work on this game, releasing weekly updates over the next few upcoming months, and if it all goes well, for an indefinite period after that. Artificial World is an open-world platformer in its very early stages, so there's a lot of open-worldness and platformness, but not much else.

Controls

Ok, this is meant to be a bit of a prequel to my RP Outnumbered. I should be posting daily or near daily, so that it comes out as the character writes it. I don't know exactly how long it will be, probably longer than a short story but not a real fanfic. As mentioned above, it needs a name, so recommendations are welcome...Here goes.
