A better suggestion would be
A better suggestion would be a togglable transparency. Going with Dray's suggestion why not allow players to choose the transparency during movement and while stationary as well as the rate at which it changes (fade in/out or instant transition).
In order to make a dollar or two SK could sell boxes with Pith hats, monocles, dungarees, a compass crest, and a backpack filled with maps, and a Swiftstrike buckler reskin.
Slightly more transparent while moving/performing an action, as opaque as it is now when standing still for more than a short time. That's how I'd like it to be.
