Hmmmm
So, I cannot log on to Spiral Knights via the website or the stand alone client, because it tells me "This account has been converted to Steam. Select use Steam Account to log in.", there is no "Use Steam Account" box like when logging in with Steam, so, nice to know that syncing your account with Steam is a curse at times.....

I think it's about system clock of spiral knights on steam, because when you login with non-steam client, projectx.txt file matches your system clock but projectx.txt file in steam version doesn't match (have big difference). Other games on steam doesn't have this problem. I had this problem with other games before and that was because of my friend who changed my computer's clock, i couldn't even sign in many websites. I hope it helps someone to fix that problem.

@Whimsicality- I have never had an issue with Steam before today, and I think it shows that this game is just as buggy because the people who have synced their accounts up with Steam HAVE to sign in through Steam.

It doesn't feel like routine maintenance, they didn't say it, in fact, the way they do maintenance is a one-by-one maintenance, due to their copious amount of servers.
I suspect another DDoS attack, it has happened before.
@Rolayler, I've just checked, steam community is down.
