I have to use a different Mac for a few days, so I downloaded SK and tried to run it. It starts to run, but displays an error dialog and quits.

The error message is "Multiple instances of this application's installer are running. This one will stop and let another complete. 0% complete"

Obviously it ran into some leftover garbage from a long-ago attempt to install SK. My question is: Where does SK keep that sort of info, so I can clean up the mess and let it start clean?

Greetings,

The non-Steam default installation directory is in your Application Support directory.

~/Library/Application Support/spiral/

Odd. There isn't a spiral directory in ~/Library/Application Support, nor in /Library/Application Support. I'll keep looking.

I've made some progress. The problem seems to be an incompatibility with AFP mounts. I was trying to install & run SK on an AFP-mounted Network Home Directory. Today I tried mounting the same directory from the same Apple file server using SMB instead of AFP and it worked.
