How about when you create an item, the next "upgrading" recipe is there for purchase automatically. This would ease getting better versions of your equipment.

This would ruin the whole point of Basil runs, and would make the selling of all recipes greater than 2* useless. As a recipe seller, I wouldn't want that- After they removed gear selling I would hate for them to remove recipe selling.
