I have made some lichen armor bases and i've taken advantage of all the Lichen raises.

I made some custom stats for these items. keep in mind these might not be perfectly balanced.

- Lichen Helm/Mail None of these links exists because of problems with uploading images but stay tuned.
- Lichen Colony Mass Helm/Mail

- Specialized Toxigel Helm/Mail
- Specialized Oil Helm/Mail

I will be uploading how i think they should be crafted if i get enough people who wants me to. Im working on a design for all these but so farr all i have is a plan.

Okay, but... What will they do? Serve as Piercing resistant gunner gear? We have Justifier and the upcoming gunner update for that. Bomber armor? But... Wouldn't a Blast Cube themed set be more suitable? Defensive sets? Okay, but what would they defend against? This idea doesn't seem too incredibly thought out.

Answer

It'll be more like a jelly gear but focuses more on fire resistance and poison resistance. If you need more answers just wait ttill my damn page loads

Answer

The Specialized Sets (oiler and toxigel) are both almost the exact same as a gunslinger gear which i dont remember the name of. Their resistance will focus on elemental defense and strong resistance to fire/poison

Also before i made the lichen idea

Before imade the lichen idea i was working on a costume resembling the jelly helm. I started with making the hallow version but then i realized what a hallow jelly helm looks like. So i made a list of different stats for a lichen helm idea! (also the jelly helm costume was scrapped duo to this project)

I love the Spiral Spy creations I've seen at this point.

A Quicksilver is technically a type of Lichen. Doing the same armor lines with Toxigel and Oiler would be the more logical and warranted follow-up.

I remember from ingame

I think tand means to make an armour with similar resistances to jelly (more piercing than other sets) that also have status resists, but which status would the regular lichen set protect from or would it give some other buff?
also i agree with Holy-Nightmare in that it should look somewhat like quicksilver, (maybe make a lichen line start as a royal jelly reward instead of brute jelly)
EDIT: also they wouldnt be like dragon scale because these sets would have the same piercing defense as other jelly sets and no elemental but normal instead

I'll just explain quickly

The lichen armor (3 star) will have resistance against piercing and normal, it'll also have a small dose poison and fire resist which at the 5 star can be turned into a specialized to directly focus on poison or fire. Im not gonna say anything more then that, also please tell me something better then tinypic!

Oh and one more thing!

Toxigel and Oiler's defense type will change to elemental once transformed

So it would turn from piercing into elemental armour? Reminds me of how oilers gain elemental resist when theyre on fire, overall id say the idea is well done and my guess for mixed statusses would be aedium of each status on regular lichen with specialized trading med of one for adding another med (to get max) on the other
