Everytime somebody released a charge attack from a Sword or Gun, My FPS Reduced to 0 in 1 second.
I'm using an Imac
-2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
-1GB of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
-ATI Radeon X1600 graphics processor with 138 MB of GDDR3 SDRAM

P.S. I think the problem is the release charge aura that's causing this..

Try this, though you should think about changing graphics card, because something like this isn't produced for... 10 years?

The graphics card has a rather low amount of memory. It is possible that this could cause a stack overflow, resulting in a sudden freeze whenever, say a charge release animation, there is too much to process. Solution : Get better hardware, or live with it.

On the other hand, optimizing for lower memory usage can help.

@Zaffy : Hi Didi :D Thanks for the info...Btw, It's not the animation...It's the charge release aura....Even Nitronome can't decrease my FPS...Strange

If this isn't integrated graphics card, you should buy at least 256MB card, which is totally cheap.

1gb for the entire os? Sk is gonna hit the memory allocation wall when java spends an inordinate amount of time waiting for the os to page swap to disk with virtual memory. You're literally hitting virtual memory at this rate. Buy yourself another gig of ram or something.

1 gb of ram isn't enough for an os and a game anymore. Things WILL page swap to disk when more ram is needed.

Although it may be memory

Although it may be memory issues, SK does have a tendency to not load models and data files until they are explicitly needed (i.e. the explosion effects of a Combuster/Glacius), and then it simply pauses the entire game until the required files have been loaded. Which is something that annoys the hell out of me because it leaves you completely vulnerable for a second or so.
