Simple problem with a simple description.
I have a wired Xbox 360 Controller.
Spiral Knights appears to claim that it has gamepad support (there's a controls category and help window for it) but when I press any of the buttons nothing happens, even when I explicitly select "Gamepad" in the menu with the three control scheme blueprints. For example, moving the left stick (movement) is simply ignored.
All the appropriate drivers are correctly installed and the device works correctly (i.e., I use it for some other PC games, like Far Cry). This leads me to believe that this issue is related directly to SK.

Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks!

Well, never mind, apparently

Well, never mind, apparently I have to manually bind all buttons and sticks to an action, even though there is a help image that implies everything is pre-bound.
So I guess the issue is resolved. Though the UI is rather unclear about what a user has to do.

The default gamepad support

The default gamepad support is kind of buggy sometimes - There are times where I freshly install and it works completely fine after selecting gamepad, other times I have to manually do every button. It's weird, but I'm glad you got it working!

(One thing to note, you DO have the controller plugged in before starting SK, right? That can affect things too.)

It's better to bind your own buttons anyway. It's far more useful to treat it like a twin-stick shooter (left to move right to face)
