This would add a couple of times of day in haven. These would be: Early Morning, Morning, Afternoon, Late Afternoon, Night.

Early Morning: Light in haven is signifigantly dimmed from where it is now. Some lit candles can be seen around AH, Fountain, and other areas. NPC knights can be seen starting to move out of the houses, at least i THINK they are houses, in the bazzar, and out of guild halls, they head towards the AH, and then Feron, to simulate picking up supplies, and then going to get their objective for the day. In the clockworks, monsters can be seen waking up (Gremlins, Beasts, Fiends, Undead, Slimes), or activating (Constructs), in specific scenario rooms. Arcade levels have low monster activity.

Morning: Light in haven is increased slightly from Early Morning, all candles are put out, and more knights are moving around. Monster activity increases quite a bit. Otherwise the same.

Afternoon: Standard haven (I THINK this is what time of day haven would be in). Standard clockworks.

Late Afternoon: Candles are starting to be lit in Haven, knights are carrying around boxes, mostly heading towards the AH and Feron, to drop off their supplies. Then heading to out to walk around in Haven. In the clockworks, monsters can be seen going back to sleep, and monster activity is decreasing.

Nighttime: ALL candles in haven are on, with no light from the sky. Almost no knight activity or monster activity in the clockworks.

The clockwork part of this would ONLY be visible in the Arcade (NOT in standard rank, prestige, or expansion missions). The only problem i can truely see with this is the different time zones, and what times to put each of these at.

I do agree that we should have some sort of weather system in Spiral Knights. However, it has been discussed before. My suggestion of having weather in Spiral Knights is to perhaps have different weather in each haven instance. For example, Haven 1 could be the afternoon while Haven 2 is night time. Of course, the weather would change.

If that doesn't work, I would suggest just adding a toggle-able weather option.
