So I have literally had enough of the LD matches....I had to wait a long period of time just to play a match of T2 LD....anyone having the same problem? The least OOO could do was to put the waitlisted people in a sort of practice room before the match to let them know they were about to play.... D:

This isn't a design flaw,

This isn't a design flaw, it's a player flaw. T2 is practically dead if you haven't noticed, no one plays it anymore really.

But there is a community effort to get more people playing T2... because T2 is awesome.

I find is rather saddening to watch as those new to LD get constantly trounced the many Vanguards/Champions/DefenderElites that prowl T2. I have even seen matches that pretty much separate the more experienced players from the unexperienced ones, making for a heavily one sided match.

My suggestion for LD in general is to seperate teams by the average of all their sets made for whatever tier (excluding T1 and T2 sets from the equation for T3 matches). This way you don't end up with one team composed entirely of those relatively new to LD.

I say there should just be a rank/ladder system. But the problem with any way of dividing teams up is there are simply too many veterans and not enough general average/below-average skill level people to make a rank system make any difference. What LD needs is a mechanics/balance update and a matchmaking/queue update, followed by a huge influx of players.
