Retribution Council is no doubt one of the best guilds/clans I've ever been into. People here are very helpful, unique, and very kind. Before I used to be a person who was guild-less or seeking a better guild. Most guilds I've been in had always been inactive, disrespectful, and very immature. But one day I met Kazagen. My 1st reaction was that it was gonna be the same thing all over again. But soon as I joined, I was welcomed so much and given so much that it was amazing. I never felt welcomed this much as other guilds I've been to. People here are very amazing in too many situations. Ever since then I gave my thanks to the team and that without them I wouldn't have made it this far. I started in the June of 2011 and stopped around mid-2012. Very recently (read: last week) decided to come back in 2015.

Because we sure do!: Despite my 3 year hiatus, I am willing to commit time to this game if its worth it. The reason why I stopped playing in 2012 because I felt like I wasnt actually amounting to anything and the grinding was getting sour.

I am at the end of my Junior year in high-school, and with that I got summer coming up. I figured I could look back at Spiral Knights and waste some time until my vacation (Flying out to Germany in July, yee). I am pretty calm in most situations, and have a variety of interests that baffle the casuals when they enter my neckbeard lair.

From what I have observed, you guys stand out because you look like you actually give a damn. The feeling of community is actually concrete and I also admire the ability to not take yourselves too seriously. I didn't want to be in some pro-MLG PVP elite hardcore clan. I wanted a group of chill bros who want to play a childrens MMO with, and you guys seem to be the closest thing so far.

I can be a guy, that talks with people. I don't have any money to give or any items to trade but I am always down for anything. I am the rank-and-file nameless knight that you pick when you dont feel like picking your main character protaganist squadmates. I can also share some dank memes.

I have been online almost every day since my return. The game has evolved so much since I first left, I am addicted all over again...

And for myself, I am a stereotypical Texan with a ranch and cow boy boots. I have had lots of practice rounding up those trojans!

I already have many friends in the guild, and it is easy to see how active it is. It was hard narrowing the list down to a guild I could dedicate myself to.

As far as what I can contribute, I love to help newcomers to the game get through their early missions. It is actually a bit of a hobby to find people in the first tier and give them a helping hand.

I'm not to sure when I started playing in 2013 I'm pretty sure but I don'tm know concretly when I actually started but I do have 26 days worth of playtime on my main account and I'll give proof if needed.

When I was in 7th and 8th grade I used to get up at 6 or 7 oclock to play this game everyday (I could). Recently I took a break from content, but now I am fresh and addicted again. I usually play quite a bit, but I am taking college courses in high school so some nights I have a lot of homework. Sometimes I may not do it though just to play. . . wink wink.

I have a strange fascination with things considered "abnormal" to society and often find myself watching documentaries about it for no reason. For example I recently watched a documentary about a woman living her life taking care of her family without her legs. Sure it may be boring to some but to me I find it interesting to see how people go about there normal lives in different circumstances for some reason. Let's see what else . . . I am 17 almost 18. I love anime (Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, Deathnote, Death Parade) and also Nintendo. I am your average nerd! I also play League of Legends sometimes. Also, I can make some scary typos.

Well, what stood out most to me is the value of personality/ player aspects rather than gear as well as the amazing sense of community I get from reading about the events and even the videos. Also I am a big fan of the loyalty program, it makes the guild make sure that there are people who are committed to it rather than just passer-bys. Plus, I admire the well typed and explained "information about the guild" sections. . . had me buying the product before selling it!

I think I can be someone who can build bridges with those who are shy and those who are comfortable as I was once very shy (sometimes I still am until I warm up to people) and so I like to make sure that the ones who do not speak up are considered and happy, as well the speakers/socializers. Sometimes there needs to be a voice for those who are afraid to voice their ideals or opinions.

Probably sometime around middle or late 2014, had a strike of inactivity but recently came back. Right now I'm at the rank of Defender Elite.

How frequently do you like playing the game? Because we sure do!
Usually what I end up doing is focusing on one game at a time (during that time I usually play said game 5 or more hrs a week) until I get bored / naturally become inactive due to swapping focus to another game. Unfortunately, this can cause bouts of inactivity that usually lasts from 1-8 months. Generally, though, as long as a game stays in my best interests, I'll pool a moderately large amount of time into it on a regular basis. I usually end up cycling through my main games, so I shouldn't stay inactive for more than a year unless Spiral Knights sinks quite lowly on my interest list or my computer breaks.

Care to tell us a bit about yourself as a person?
I am currently a student with aspirations towards the engineering field. I'm usually the loud/creative person in a friend group (I'm normally more calmer/formal at face value, especially in the virtual world or in serious situations. 'Tis mostly a matter of knowing me well and setting the right atmosphere.). I'm pretty relaxed and like to have humor and general friendliness around, whether in chat or the community as a whole. I'm quite lacking in the athletics department, but I consider myself advanced academically. Sometimes I like drawing, but it's usually limited to a comic style. I also play music; soon I'll be managing three instruments, piano, violin, and trombone.

I'd like to find a friendly, helpful guild with a sense of community and identity. Sort of like a large neighborhood where everyone knows / connects to everyone else. Those are the ones that make the biggest impressions on the people involved, in my opinion, and the Retribution Council seems like one. The Retribution Council also seems like a guild that won't disappear into oblivion any time soon, like many other communities I've been through. I want to find a guild that I can be proud to call a home, and that when I'm older and remember my days in Spiral Knights, it would be the first thing I remember.

Given the time, if I'm not very busy I like to help people in things like getting past missions, tips/pointers, and guidance on how to continue in their plights. I'm usually the person that gives advice and spreads the optimism. By joining, I'd be adding another social face to the Retribution Council, as well. The more the merrier, right?

Sure...why not? I love videogames, spiral knights was the first online videogame I played. I left it because there was a time where it kind of got stuck, but it seems to have quite a lot of new things now. Now I'm back and I feel like a complete noob XD but thanks God this game is not about competitiveness, is more about team work and having a good time with other people; and this is why I want to fully come back here. I'm kind of shy, I don't talk too much if people don't say anything to me. Currently I'm studying at college, it is distance education so I manage my own time and that's why I can play every day :P

Well... a little bit obvious that you guys seem to be more organized thant other guilds. I feel like I can quickly update with the new things and continue growing up in the game with you guys, I like the way you present your own guild. It reflexes how much effort you put into making it work and I would like to be part of it!
And the number 1 reason why I want to join is because you say that this guild is very active, is hard to find a guild that always have players willing to play with its own guild. For some reason people join into a guild but they don't seem to play with that guild's community.

By the moment, since I'm not the expert I used to be in spiral knights I can just promise to behave the way you expect me to do. First off this guild seems really, really friendly from what i can see from the introduction. They are willing to help their guild mates whenever they need help and I think this is how a guild should be, helping each other in times of need, treating each other as part of their family. Secondly I find this guild very organised. You guys have scheduled vana and SL runs. You have rules that aren't strict and very easy to follow as well. I believe this is a great guild and I really want to be a part of the family.

I usually do a lot of arcade runs so I can help stock up the recipe bank and donate materials :)

I read all the top guild's forum's, and this guild seemed the best out of all of them. I have a gut feeling that this guild is going to be really good. It seem's like a guild where there are many friendly players, who love to help each other and play Spiral Knights. This looks like a guild I can call home.

I can help low tier player's. I will try to donate as much crowns as I can, to help keep the guild running. I could help with the recipe bank so that my guildmates dont have to run basil a 100 time's to get one lousy recipe. I could be friendly in the guild chat.
