I recently have been increasingly declining in my activity of this game, but I still check the website and forums from time to time. Just recently, when I completed the three new missions, I was having a blast; something this game hadn't given me in a long time. I guess I'm writing this mainly as a thank you to OOO for a great game and encouragement to them to continue to make awesome unique content. This is not a quitting thread. I merely want to say thank you to OOO...something I think they haven't heard in a long time. ~Z

I've been having fun here!
Maybe I just find the spark in the mundane, but I've been enjoying myself here quite a bit. The new missions were really a blast, and it was fun to bring one of my old friends back into the game (who has never done a shadow lair) and run that last mission...
Their reaction to everything reminded me why I love to stick around in this game.

There is absolutely too much pessimism towards OOO and SK, and I still can't understand why. Most people who complain have been playing the game for around 3 years, and then say that they hate OOO. OOO deserves more respect for what they have created and how hard they work on it. I still think that the "big projects", like the Arcade Redux and a new boss, are almost finished, and that the Anniversary will contain something very special, something that was absolutely worth the waiting...

The feels are over 9000. I haven't seen a thread like this in a loooong time ;(. Quoting Nick, "Cradle will always have a place in my heart" <-- Not sure if that's exactly what he said, but close enough I guess.
I agree.
Admittedly, I've been pessimistic of Spiral Knights. The game has been dying down slowly and it's so easy to make declarations of doom and misery. The game has flaws and far too often people focus/complain exclusively on the things that they want fixed.
However, the game is still fun. There are still reasons to enjoy the game. I had also taken a rather long break from SK but, like you, the new missions have brought me back. So yes, thank you OOO for your hard work with Spiral Knights.
