Gun or bomb? (For FSC)

I need a decent gun for FSC. I normally need a gun which does elemental damage and has a good status. Freeze, shock or fire. Bombs could also work. I just got a recipe of that 4 star shock bomb. I think its static charge or something. Could someone suggest if I should make the bomb OR you could suggest a good gun. (For FSC)

I'm on rank 8-2 right now.
I'm on rank 8-2 right now. Wait to get to 9-1 for the Strike Needle recipe. I already have a level 5 Needle Shot ready. So I need a bomb or a good gun. I also made a freezing vapourizer mk II, but sold it for DTB. Didn't really like it.

The Voltaic Tempest is a good bomb to have, it slows down enemies and gives you time to charge up sword or gun charges.
The Electron Bomb and Ionized salt bomb are also Shock dealing bombs so I'm not certain which recipe you have. The Salt bomb is good for slimes and gremlins since it has good flinch rate and charges fast, while the electron bomb works great with smart teammates who take advantage of the clumped enemies.
You should look into getting a Blitz needle since it is very helpful for taking down Vanaduke quickly. For guns I would suggest the Nova Driver, Arcana, Storm Driver, Polaris, or Wildfire. The Argent Peacemaker is OK but really wears on your finger.

Ionized salt bomb is very
Ionized salt bomb is very difficult to place. Mostly I'm accompanied by idiots, who wont listen to me, so Ionized is not an option. On the other side, I just cant seem to get a pulsar. RT is very difficult and irritating. I've got a single token so far. Could you add me In Game? Same username. Maybe you could hep me with RT

I don't understand why you need this particular thing. Is it for the Vanaduke fight, or for the earlier levels? Have you considered just using Blitz Needle?
It would help if you would tell us your proposed FSC loadout. How many weapon slots will you be using? Which weapons have you decided on thus far? Does anyone else in your party have Shivermist Buster or Blitz Needle?
The other posters' recommendations are all good. I'm just worried that we'll get you to bring Storm Driver (which is awesome), and then you'll realize that you never needed it in the first place, because you just use Blitz anyway.
Also, you already have a thread here about choosing a gun for FSC. In the future, please just continue the same thread. It helps keep all of the relevant information in one place.

Personally, for vials and such, after health and remedies I typically go for barriers as emergency trojan killers. Of course, I'm usually the shivermist guy and thus don't have a blitz on me generally.
If you're running FSC you should be using Blitz Needle to contribute to the vana fight properly and not just slow your party down. That, or you could use Shivermist to keep him freeze locked.
