Lockdown Servers

Confined in a world with 1 red bar for life.

Hi I'm suggesting that OOO add another server to SK as many lockdown players are fixed with 1 bar such as myself. My main point is that both the EU and US severs don't work for people like me (who live in Australia) or people who live away from those places. This restricts me and lots of potential PVPers from achieving VERY high damage scores, entering tournaments/1v1s.

-AT or ASI VH on weapons do not help one bit when fighting good players with 3-4 bars of connection.
I recommend producing one more server in Australia or the Philippines/China even, as longs it is around the area.

This will remove latency/lag for those like me and will create a more fair PvP system in Spiral Knights.

This has been suggested years ago. While I obviously support the idea it's sadly no where near a priority for OOO. Maybe if the declining playerbase issue gets resolved first, otherwise the 1 bar population is too low for them to mind. :/

Everyone will one day. No ragrets, enjoy it while it lasts.

OOO

Being honest I don't think OOO has any consideration of our suggestions.

Unlikely to happen

As far as I'm aware, they're not bothering with an Oceania presence, simply because they already have one - but its owned by a third party company, and the two sets of servers don't pull from the same source. So an Oceania server exists, just not sync'd with the US/EU ones.

If that is, indeed, the case, SEGA, and subsequently OOO, won't put funds towards maintaining an Oceania server cluster.
