Questions regarding Monstrous Research 4-2

Hello, everyone. First and foremost - I'd like to apologize if I'm being silly or missing something obvious. That's a personal skill of mine.
You see, the problem is, I'm stuck at Monstrous Research 4-2, having recently become a Soldier. I have already submitted the items and gotten the reward, a Jelly Band, but I cannot advance to the next mission (Elemental, My Dear!). Here are the screenshots I have available:

I hope that someone can help with this, because it's left me pretty much at a loss to do any progression.

Yes, you have to do all missions in a rank before progressing to the next rank. Happy travels.

Okay, I just realized I hadn't completed the first mission because I didn't realize it would involve much other than the comms. I'm now happily closer to becoming a Knight! Thank you!
You need to do all missions in the current set to be able to advance, you skipped a new threat
