Need help with loadout

I love doing tons of damage so i took chaos set but now i dont know what to use for my weapons, currently no extra weapon slot so i only use 2 weapons per mission. Here are my few ideas and i hope you guys can help me decide which one is better. 1) Acheron, Blitz or Storm driver 2)Combuster, Blitz or Umbra driver 3)Storm driver, Blitz I know the go to for end game is number 2 which is voltedge, combuster, glacius alongside with Blitz, but can you guys give reasons on why which loadout is better? I find it really uncomfortable to use blitz, fiends and wolves can just easily dodge my shots and hit me instead so is there other alternative to a good fast piercing weapon that is good for end game? Thanks in advance :)
Edit: Can some1 also tell me which place is the best for earning cr end game, and which loadout would suit it

Combuster/Blitz on months I want to go cheap on weapon slots.
As for gunning, I strongly discourage anyone to try it if they don't have the willingness to learn the complicated raw in-depth mechanic it has. Save trouble and learn how to brandish combo/charge and blitz charge to rapidly get better results for your Spiral Knights career.

You're selecting among some of the most powerful weapons in the game, which is good. Which one is better depends on the situation. If you own three or four of these, then you can mix and match to the situation. And no, you don't need any extra weapon slots.

Yes, Blitz Needle requires you to know the monster AI well. The fastest way to deal with beasts, and the safest way to deal with fiends, is Dark Briar Barrage. I can't recommend it highly enough.

This is a frequently asked question. My prepared answer, including links to data sets, is here. For Firestorm Citadel you want something like your loadout 2 or maybe loadout 3. For Operation Crimson Hammer you want something like loadout 1 or maybe loadout 2.
