how does it differ?
How does this Discord channel differ from the other three or four that I've seen over the years? In particular, is it deliberately separate from the channel run by Fangel (?), which is still going (?)?

I dont think that was what Bopp was asking. The question was whether the discord server was deliberately separate from Fangel's -- meaning did Sewyy make it in spite of Fangel's server (which, yes, is still running strong), or did Sewyy make it not knowing of Fangel's server.
For what it's worth, my feeling is that it is deliberately separate. Good luck on your server, Sewyy.

Sewyy's server is not affiliated in any way with The Arcade. The Arcade is still going strong, but individual smaller servers built around different ideals than ours are totally cool with us. 😎
From our interactions, this was a deliberate new server, so I wish everyone the best over there.
