Trap doors in the new Treasure Vault

I was excited to see really new level with new enemies.
At some point, I got stuck in the trap room. After using the dark retribution bomb a lot on the switches, they broke. So, it doesn't matter how hard I try to unlock the door, the switches no longer work:

Is it a bug or a deliberate trap?
GH/OOO would usually never design inescapable traps so my bet is on it is a bug, not a surprise considering that Trashsure vault was never beta tested, for some reasons...
