Cool Ideas that would really help out SK

We all know that Spiral Knights has been dry with updates for quite some years, So I thought posting this here to ask community what would be awesome ideas that could be implemented into the game!

Here are my personal ideas:

-New maps! Yes, exotic areas to explore, new puzzles, perhaps? Many players are well aware with almost everything and the layout of those old maps are getting boring.

-New Weapons! Would love to see more of piercing and maybe crowd control weapons? Poison and stun seem to be completely forgotten( except for slime king), so maybe buff them or make them useful in other ways?

-New bosses/minibosses)? Would add a great variety and creates the feeling of discovery and fun! Especially would love maybe Gremlin or Silkwing boss!

-Game optimization! Definitely one thing I would love to see, as old as the game is, it completely destroys my mid-high end PC. there are lots of glitches and bugs to be taken care of, as it is crucial for keeping abusers and glitches away.

-What about graphical update? This one is more or a stretch but how would HD spiral knights look like? Improved visuals, textures and maps could greatly make it look more natural compared to the usual plain 2010's look.

Add any other suggestions below!

New bosses and maps are something we all want.

But sadly aren't getting. Gray Haven has made it clear that they have no intention of updating or doing anything with this game besides reskins and running loot boxes. Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to demean you and put down your idea like a certain angel in the sky, but it's just that you can have all the great ideas and creativity but none of it won't matter. A certain someone has spent so much time defending GH and refuting any criticism or putting suggestions like yours down that most of the community are jaded and bitter.

EDIT: Chances are, that certain someone will still make a post stating that Gray Havens won't have the time nor money for your ideas.

The biggest idea

GH's not great policy aside, there is one major thing that can spark the game into popularity - proper workshop integration.

What I mean is that if they decide to make it possible to create fan content that is actually usable in game, then from thereon they can commission the community to make cool stuff.

That means that all your ideas could be realized by a passionate fan (of which there are plenty).

I mean I'd love the game's main story to be finished as the next guy, but you know how well Minecraft adventure maps or Terraria's tModLoader boosted fan interaction. May be a bad analogy, but the point still stands.

That said, I am just dreaming, since we all knw GH probably won't bother.

And to add one last caveat on the new maps, GH seems to have a nasty trend of creating extremely punishing levels with tedious enemies and laughable payouts.

-Compounds: endlessly spawning minis with little in the way of treasure boxes, they recently added more, but that took years to implement.

-New post vanguard missions: while interesting, most have rather nasty challenges for how little you get out of it, DaN seems to be the only exception if you are short on rads and nothing else, FSC is better IMO.

-Trashsure vault: three new floor hazards (razor, monster garage and echo blocks) introduced with no tutorials on how they work, a boss with no recon module and a new trinket that probably isn't worth the effort needed to acquire it (it gives you more normal defense when you are low on health).

So even if they do take your idea, chances are, they will make you suffer/wait a long time/bore out of your mind to play through it.
