In my experience, I've had a much easier time selling Chapeaus as opposed to Tabards.
In the end, the difference in price is marked as well. The last chapeau I sold went for 8.5k CE, and tabards of all colors only ever get up to around 6k for me, though red is less popular than the rest.
To this end, I would ask for the 2.5k CE difference in this trade, and I do have the red chapeau and am willing to make that swap.
Please take your time. There are some out there that might just want the White Tabard and be willing to make this swap with you free of charge.
