So the story goes

I won this auction http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/12523

and never could get a hold of the guy selling. I finally found out why. Someone with a name similar to mine logged on and claimed to be me.

They said they wanted to give the sword to their "alt" the "alts" name Is Smexy-Name and it is a dbag.

So if you know Smexy-name please tell them to stop being a dbag

You should be able to report

You should be able to report this person to the GM, I'm pretty sure you can get the item as well as get that person punished.

Sorry

sorry about that.

Shortly after the auction ended he messaged me in game.
the id looked like sasasa but i wasn't paying too close attention. he confirmed the auction, and then said that he didn't have any CE on that character, and was logging on his alt called Smexy-name to do the trade.
and he came on and we traded.
that's why i found it weird when you were mailing me about the item when i thought i had already traded it to you.

now i'll have to pay more attention, i didn't realise things like this happened

i emailed the support about this as well, to see if there's anything that can be done about it
