Armor Stats changed?

So is the change from Damage bonus vs Fiend: Low to damage penalty vs fiend: low
intentional? on the Valkyrie set

Same for the salamander dmg bonus vs slime: low to penalty.

the angelic and a few others are doing it aswell, i really do wonder if its intentional.
