How strong can a weapon be? How fast can they possibly move? If you combined Skolver set with Barbarous Thorn Shield, and had a Khorovod, it would make sense that it was capable of the highest hit in the game. A Vog Cub set with a Swiftstrike Buckler and a Wild Hunting Blade would probably get you the highest amount of hits. Has anyone ever tested this?
You are close, you'd want to use Skolver Set + Barb Thorn Shield with a Divine Avenger or Gran Faust, then attack something that is weak to their damage type for the highest single hit in the game. Comparing a Khorovod Charge Attack at Depth 28 hit of 419 vs DA's 682 on Undead/Construct.
Actually, the Leviathan's charge can hit three times so 368 * 3 base damage... if that would count. The DA's projectiles would have to connect at least three times to make up the difference, which isn't hard with large targets like a Lumbar. So yeah, DA might win either way.
Think you are right about most attacks per second, but anything in the cutter family would have the same speed.
