Maybe instead of having extremely confusing lag inducing pets, we could have a completely automated gun that attaches to your knight's shoulder. It wouldn't be powerful or anything but you could buy types of it from select vendors and it would be like a regular weapon and would require a slot. Other weapons could be used simultaneously.

Sorry i only had a bit of time to write the above starter. I didn't actually end up writing what i meant. I was thinking they could fire totally by themselves with no player assist or direction. They wouldn't be too powerful, but it would be fun to have an AI cannon firing at enemies elsewhere why you were hacking down other foes. I guess you could craft them and there would be a selection of them to buy. I thought this would be interesting because as far as I know, (not exactly being a gamer) no other MMORG has that feature.
Does that make a bit more sense?
