Is it true that the ancient plate recipes don't exist? Or is it just a bug in the game programming? Can anyone confirm this for me? Thank you.

I'm pretty sure they exist,
I'm pretty sure they exist, just aren't obtainable. I think I recall them being available before the end of the Preview from Basil.
The recipes don't exist.
The only way to get the Ancient Plate set is to kill Vanaduke over and over until you have enough Tokens.
It's like the Sealed Sword, Antigua, Pulsar, Catalyzer, ect ect. In other words, a boss item.
